The Antonio Brown era in Oakland has ended before he even played a regular-season snap with the Raiders. While Oakland is clearly a loser from a real football perspective, there's one Raider that clearly stands to benefit from a fantasy perspective.

Hunter Renfrow could see a huge spike in fantasy value with Brown now out of the picture.

Hunter Renfrow Fantasy Outlook

Renfrow was more or less a fantasy afterthought this summer, as he had an average draft position (ADP) of WR79 in PPR leagues. He's currently owned in just eight percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Football leagues, but there's reason to believe he could be fantasy viable from day one.

He was used early and often at Clemson, catching passes from studs like Trevor Lawrence and Deshaun Watson. Renfrow caught at least 44 passes in each of his last three seasons with the Tigers, topping out with 60 receptions in 2017. That productivity made him a fifth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, and he projects best as a slot receiver at the next level.

Brown was likely going to be playing in the slot a lot with the Raiders, as he saw 64 targets from the slot in 2018. Without a proven alternative on the roster, Renfrow could be the top slot receiver in Oakland.

Derek Carr had an average depth of target of 6.9 yards in 2018, which was the third-shortest mark among passers with at least 200 attempts. That means Carr generally preferred short, quick passes last year, which could really benefit a slot WR like Renfrow.

While it's likely going to be hard to trust Renfrow on a week-to-week basis, he's absolutely worth a flyer if he's on the waiver wire and could have a pretty high ceiling, particularly in PPR leagues.
