The Heisman Trophy favorite has been a QB throughout the 2019 college football season. Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa and Clemson's Trevor Lawrence opened as the co-leaders, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, with Tua taking the lead up until mid-October.
However, the most consistent riser in the odds is LSU quarterback Joe Burrow, who is now the favorite heading into the Week 10 games.
At +160 to win the Heisman, Burrow now sits alone atop the odds. The QB has completed 78.8 percent of his passes for 2,805 yards and 30 touchdowns to go along with just four interceptions, while adding another three touchdowns on the ground. Burrow's terrific play has helped shoot him to the top of the odds in recent weeks, with him being at +6500 just over a month ago.
Oklahoma's Jalen Hurts is in a close second right now and he's been a statistical machine so far this season. But following a loss to Kansas State last week, Hurts dropped from +175 to +280, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Hurts has thrown for 2,469 yards with 21 touchdowns and three interceptions, while running for another 801 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Rounding out the top five in the odds to win the Heisman are Tagovailoa (+300), Justin Fields (+900) and Chase Young (+1400) with a big drop off after that.
