After a difficult week at the U.S. Open, some tour players are turning around quickly and heading south to the Dominican Republic for the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship.

With a light field this weekend, it could be anyone's tournament to win. With that in mind, let's take a look at some players to watch when putting together your fantasy team.

MacKenzie Hughes:
MacKenzie Hughes is familiar with success on this course. In fact, just last year he finished runner up at this event. Finishing 17 under par here in 2019, Hughes putter should be his saving grace this weekend. He ranks No. 39 on tour in Strokes Gained (SG): Putting. He is also playing some great golf heading into this event. In his last nine starts, Hughes has grabbed two top-6 finishes and six top-15 finishes.

Charles Howell III:
Charles Howell III put together an encouraging showing on a treacherous Winged Foot course last week, finishing T-30. Similar to Hughes, putting will be a strength for him here and if he can improve his accuracy from a 100 yards and out, he could very well be the one holding the trophy come Sunday. Howell ranks No. 14 on tour in SG: Putting and even No. 25 in scoring average overall. He's got solid distance off the tee, which could put him in that under 100-yard approach range he seems to thrive in. His short stick will take it from there.

Henrik Stenson:
As arguably the most accomplished golfer near the top of this field, Henrik Stenson should immediately be in anyone's consideration set. While he's had a light year overall, both with starts and success, he did win the Hero World Challenge back in March. Stenson is in a position to outlast a weaker field here on pure experience alone. While he might not have the numbers or success to point to it this season, almost all his other appearances were against top tier competition, something he simply won't have to deal with this week.
