It's getting harder and harder to find high-upside tight ends to pick up off the waiver wire as the NFL season rolls on. Many of the rising stars at the position are beginning to graduate from being borderline plays to clear-cut starters.
Nevertheless, there are still a few names out there worth keeping an eye on. Here are the top-three streaming tight ends, rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues, to target in Week 11.
Streaming TEs Week 11
1. Tyler Conklin, Minnesota Vikings (30% Rostered)
Tyler Conklin has to graduate from this list sooner than later. All the Minnesota Vikings' starter has done over the past month is produce week in and week out. Conklin made up for posting a season-low 11 receiving yards by hauling in 2 touchdown passes in Week 10. It was the fourth-straight week he racked up at least 9.5 PPR fantasy points and he now ranks as the No. 11 TE overall in fantasy football. The fourth-year pro has clearly become a favorite target of quarterback Kirk Cousins and there's no reason to believe that'll stop this Sunday against a middle-of-the-pack Green Bay Packers' defense.
2. Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears (18% Rostered)
One tight end that has been flying under the radar a bit over the last few weeks is Cole Kmet of the Chicago Bears. The former Notre Dame standout is quietly becoming one of quarterback Justin Fields' most trusted options in the passing attack. Kmet has seen 25 targets over his last four games played and posted a season-high 87 receiving yards in Week 9. He draws a great matchup in Week 11 facing a Baltimore defense that cannot seem to defend opposing TEs. In fact, the Ravens have allowed the third-most receiving yards to the position (652) as well as 6 touchdowns. Look for Kmet to stay on track this week with another solid performance.
3. Adam Trautman, New Orleans Saints (5% Rostered)
Fantasy managers in deeper leagues looking to stream a tight end should focus on Adam Trautman of the New Orleans Saints. The second-year pro has seen an increased role on this offense over the last three weeks hauling in 11 of his 19 targets for 83 yards. Trautman has also seen 4 red zone looks during that span. He has sneaky TE1 upside this week going up against a Philadelphia defense that is giving up the most PPR fantasy points to opposing TEs this season. The Eagles have also allowed a league-high 8 touchdowns to the position. Trust Trautman to keep up his momentum as the Saints' go-to check down option.
