It's fantasy basketball draft season, and that has managers scrambling to do all the research they can on fantasy basketball rankingssleepers and busts to avoid.

The Duel is here to help every step of the way.

Here are our top sleepers with breakout potential for 2021-22 fantasy basketball drafts.

Fantasy Basketball Breakout Candidates

1. Robert Williams, Boston Celtics (ADP: 79.3)

Robert Williams is coming off of a productive season despite a crowded Boston Celtics frontcourt. He set career highs in points (8.0), rebounds (6.9), assists (1.8) and blocks (1.8) in just 18.9 minutes per game. A flurry of offseason moves has cleared the way for Williams to step into the starting role, which makes him an exciting pick given his numbers in limited time last year. Get in on the fourth-year big man before his stock explodes.

2. Nickeil Alexander-Walker (ADP: 110.3)

Nickeil Alexander-Walker is coming off of a solid 2020-21 campaign where he set career highs in PPG (11.0), RPG (3.1) and APG (2.2). He also racked up 1.0 steals per game. NAW made strides as a shooter as well, setting bests in 3-point percentage (34.7%) and free throw percentage (72.7%). The positive momentum behind Alexander-Walker puts him in prime breakout territory, especially given his new starting role after the departures of Lonzo Ball and Eric Bledsoe this offseason. He should get an early-season boost with Zion Williamson sidelined as well.

3. Isaiah Stewart, Detroit Pistons (ADP: 86.0)

Isaiah Stewart will now be the main man at center for the Detroit Pistons after they shipped off Mason Plumee this summer. Stewart's numbers could take off after an impressive rookie year where he put up 7.9 PPG, 6.7 RPG and 1.3 BPG (13.3/11.2/2.1 per-36). He wasn't a massive liability at the line, either, hitting just under 70% at the stripe. Kelly Olynyk is the only major threat for minutes at center, but Stewart will have every chance to prove his worth as one of the team's young building blocks.
