As we continue providing waiver wire saves or steals options for fantasy baseball owners, it's good to remember that these stats are something you should be in search of throughout the season. Whether it's Austin Meadows stealing a single base while jacking two homers last week or Delino DeShields being one off the league lead in steals since we wrote about them, the waiver wire is typically a great place to find improvements in those two categories.

Here are three options for saves or steals for Week 3 of the fantasy baseball season.

Saves: Jeremy Jeffress, RP, Milwaukee Brewers

The Brewers activated Jeremy Jeffress from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday and threw him directly into the fire on Wednesday, pitching 2/3 of an inning with a strikeout in a 6-3 Brewers' loss. While Josh Hader has been the team's saves guy with Jeffress on the IL, it was Jeffress who owned the ninth inning down the stretch last season for the Brew Crew. While Brewers coach Craig Counsell said he won't put Jeffress in any high-leverage situations right away, it's very possible he gets save chances in the not-so-distant future. Jeffress is a must-add in mixed fantasy leagues and remains available in 55 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues right now.

Steals: Danny Santana, OF, Texas Rangers

Danny Santana is taking the place of the injured Rougned Odor and he's picked up two steals and four hits in his first 14 at-bats with the Texas Rangers. He's batted either second or seventh for Texas and is an intriguing power-speed combo for fantasy owners to consider. As long as Odor remains out, he should have an everyday role with the Rangers. Plus, he played second base in all three of his starts this season, meaning he should gain multi-position eligibility within the next couple of weeks.

Saves: Craig Kimbrel, RP, Free Agent

It's time to pick up Craig Kimbrel. There's no other way to say it. He's the best of the best and somehow he's still available in close to 20 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues. He will sign with a team sooner rather than later (we're looking at you, Atlanta Braves), and will be a top-five closer option from that day forward. Add him now.
