There's really only one rule when it comes to nicknames – you can't give yourself your own nickname. However, that doesn't mean you can't endorse one you like.

And that's exactly what Indianapolis Colts' tight end Eric Ebron did following the team's Week 2 preseason loss to the Cleveland Browns last Saturday night.

After Ebron found the end zone yet again, the NFL's Twitter handle posted a video of the touchdown catch, dubbing him "Mr. Red Zone." The big tight end replied just hours after the Colts' 21-18 loss, simply saying "I like it."

And it makes a lot of sense, at least since Ebron joined the Colts. In his first season with Indianapolis, the tight end caught 13 regular-season touchdowns (tied for second in the NFL). He also vowed to break Rob Gronkowski's tight end touchdown record during the offseason and more recently claimed the Colts have the best tight end room in the entire NFL.

With all the touchdowns Ebron has racked up since joining the Colts, this Mr. Red Zone nickname could surely stick. Now, all he'll have to do is prove that last season's career year wasn't a fluke, and catching touchdowns is surely one way to do that.
