Chicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez has had his share of injury troubles in four short years in the MLB. That trend continued on Saturday in a scary moment that resulted in him being carted off the field.

Eloy Jimenez Injury Update
Attempting to leg out an infield single in the top of the second inning against the Minnesota Twins, Jimenez hit the first base bag awkwardly, took a few steps of momentum and then tumbled to the ground.
The talented White Sox outfielder grimaced on the field in obvious pain before the injury cart came out. He was clearly dealing with some kind of lower body/leg injury.
White Sox News
Jimenez already sat out a handful of games this year, and has spent three different stints on the injured list dating back to 2019. The Silver Slugger winner played in only 55 games last year due to a pectoral tear.
Tony La Russa and the White Sox are hoping this situation isn't as serious as it looked on the field. After all, Jimenez is a career .268/.314/.499 hitter who averages 37 home runs and 110 RBIs across 162-games. His lengthiest season was 122 games as a rookie.
The White Sox stand at 6-7 on the year, but do hold +1200 (T-4th) odds to win the 2022 World Series on FanDuel Sportsbook.
