Early NFL Odds Predict Colts to Dominate Divisional Matchups in 2020 Season
By Zach Brunner

Following the unexpected retirement of Andrew Luck, the Indianapolis Colts rightfully seemed out of sorts, and this presence of uneasiness or disorganization seemingly trickled into the regular season, where Colts took a step back last season. Indianapolis had injuries and inconsistent quarterback play, causing them to finish third in the AFC South, with a 7-9 record.

Indianapolis decided to go out and sign veteran quarterback Philip Rivers to hopefully fix the passing issues and make this offense more dangerous once again. FanDuel Sportsbook expects it will, posting odds that suggest the Colts will dominate their divisional games.
Last season's AFC South champion, the Houston Texans, have traded away DeAndre Hopkins and look like they will take a step backward. Either way, the Colts are already favored in both games against Houston, including being 1.5-point favorites on the road.
Currently, there is only one game against the Jacksonville Jaguars available, but it is the meeting in Jacksonville. The Colts are already heavy favorites in this one, boasting a 4.5-point advantage over the Jags.
The Tennessee Titans are shaping up to be the Colts' toughest challenge in the division. Currently, FanDuel Sportsbook has these two teams splitting the regular season series. They have the Colts favored by three points in Indianapolis, but as 1.5-point underdogs in Nashville.

It remains to be seen if Rivers will be the solution in Indianapolis, but the early lines suggest the veteran signing was a smart one.
