As the NFL Playoffs approach, fans across the country look forward to end-of-year award announcements. The Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award is one of the highest recognitions in football, given to players that best "represent [doing] incredible things in their communities."

On Tuesday, the league office announced Walter Payton Man of the Year award nominees from all 32 franchises. A longtime, veteran player was nominated for the Philadelphia Eagles: center Jason Kelce.

Kelce is one of the longest-tenured Eagles on Philadelphia's current roster. The four-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro is the definition of excellence at the center position.

Not only has Kelce brought Philadelphia a Super Bowl title in his 11-year career, but he's known for his dedication to giving back to the community. Just this past summer, Kelce raised more than $100,000 for the Eagles Autism Foundation.

The NFL will announce the league winner for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award during NFL Honors, airing on Thursday, Feb. 10 at 9 p.m. EST. Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson took home the award in 2020.
