The Miami Dolphins will be glad to have outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy available to play this Sunday after he was activated off of the reserve/COVID-19 list. He was originally flagged for contract tracing this past week, but he was able to pass the protocol and will play in Week 10.

While the Dolphins will still be without defensive tackle Christian Wilkins, the fact that Van Noy will be able to play this week is huge for a defense that ranks No. 14 in the NFL in defensive DVOA.

Van Noy joined the Dolphins this past offseason signing a four-year deal worth $51 million. He has racked up 33 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 2 sacks, and 4 pass deflections so far this season.

Miami's stout defense has been one of the biggest surprises in the NFL this season as it has carried this team to its 5-3 record. The Dolphins are only giving up 20.1 points per game (T-No. 4 in the NFL).

In what is what is expected to be a close matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, the Dolphins can use all the help they can get as they attempt to win their fifth consecutive game.

They are currently 1.5-point home favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL betting odds.
