DJ Chark Injury Update Boosts Fantasy Outlook for Week 16 in Great Matchup vs Falcons

DJ Chark appears to be ready to go for the Jacksonville Jaguars' game against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 16. Chark missed Week 15 with an ankle injury, but he returned to the field for practice on Wednesday.

With fantasy football matchups coming down to the wire and most leagues having their championship in Week 16, owners will be happy to see Chark back in the lineup against a shaky Atlanta secondary.

DJ Chark Fantasy Outlook

Chark has had a huge second-year breakout for the Jaguars, averaging 73.5 yards on 5.2 receptions per game. While he's been a boom-or-bust player at times— scoring under 9.0 PPR points in four of his 14 games — his ability to put up big numbers has led him to a strong 16.5 PPR points per game., ranking 10th among all wideouts.

Chark's output is typically tied to the Jaguars offense, which has been wildly inconsistent this season. Gardner Minshew II loves throwing to Chark, targeting him more than any other Jaguars receiver, but when the Jaguars aren't moving the ball, his opportunities are limited.

Luckily for Chark owners, the Jaguars are facing an Atlanta defense that ranks No. 23 in passing yards allowed and No. 25 in Football Outsiders' pass defense DVOA. Chark should have no trouble finding space this week.
