Despite missing Week 15 with an ankle injury, Jacksonville Jaguars standout receiver DJ Chark and his fantasy football owners received some positive news this Sunday.

With many of Chark's fantasy owners battling out championship week, Chark is now expected to return for a Week 16 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons.

DJ Chark Fantasy Outlook

Gardner Minshew II and the Jaguars face a Falcons defense that ranks No. 25 in passing yards defensive DVOA, according to Fantasy Football Outsiders. Chark should resume his spot as the Jaguars' No. 1 receiving option as well after tallying 956 yards on 67 catches and 106 targets thus far in 2019, nearing his first career 1,000-yard NFL season.

The talented second-year wideout has a knack for producing big numbers, scoring 20.0 or more points in PPR scoring four times this season. While Chark's production is often tied to the Jaguars' inconsistent offense, he still has a high floor given the amount of targets (8.1 per game) and trust that Minshew has for him.

While he's been limited in practice this week, Chark should immediately reassume low-end WR1 status in PPR leagues. And he should be considered a strong WR2 in standard leagues as well.

He ranks as the No. 14 wide receiver in our Week 16 PPR fantasy WR rankings, but does not appear in our Week 16 standard WR rankings.
