The Philadelphia Phillies are another MLB franchise that's been plagued by injuries this season. Superstar right fielder Bryce Harper previously missed time and shortstop Didi Gregorius has been sidelined since May 12 with a bone bruise on his right elbow.

While Gregorius did suffer a setback in his injury rehab earlier this week, Phillies fans can breathe a sigh of relief as the 31-year-old shortstop will resume his rehab assignment on Tuesday with Philadelphia's Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

The setback was relatively minor and manager Joe Girardi described it as a "little stiffness and a little soreness." However, it will be good news to see Gregorius back out on the field today with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.

So far, Gregorius has played in just 32 games. He's slashing well below his career averages at .229/.266/.364 this season (.264/.313/.431 career) with 4 home runs and 22 RBI. Hopefully for Philadelphia, Gregorius can return fully healthy and seen an uptick in his batting numbers.

The Phillies are currently in second-place in the NL East with their 32-32 overall record, however, they trail just 4.0 games back of the New York Mets. FanDuel Sportsbook has Gregorius' squad as longshots to win the division at +950 odds.
