Devonta Smith NFL Combine Weight Revealed Ahead of Draft

Alabama wide receiver DeVonta Smith is expected to be among the first few wide receivers off of the board at the 2021 NFL Draft. However, concerns have been raised about Smith's weight and how he'll fare at the next level.
DeVonta Smith Weight
Teams now have an official weight on Smith after the league's medical combine earlier this month.
NFL teams didn't get athletic testing numbers from the Indy medical combine earlier this month, but they did get measurements. And that meant, finally, they got Alabama WR DeVonta Smith on a scale.

Per sources, the Heisman winner checked in at a 6-foot-0.2 and 166 pounds.
Smith measured just over 6-foot-2 and 166 pounds. That's a fraction less than the 170 pounds he said he weighed in late March, but it's nothing that comes as a complete shock.
Smith's weight has been used by his critics during the pre-draft process to talk about his potential in the NFL. But, there's no reason the wideout won't be able to put on at least some muscle once on an NFL training program. Any team that selects him will help get his body in the best place possible.
Plus, it's not like Smith can't already make an impact at his current weight. He just lit the college football world on fire with 1,856 yards, 23 TDs and a Heisman Trophy win. His talent is clearly there and teams would be fools to pass on him just because of his current frame.
