The Buffalo Bills' backfield tends to be a headache for fantasy football managers. This is one of the league's best offenses, but the backfield tends to be a true split between Devin Singletary and Zack Moss.

Moss was just surprisingly announced as a healthy inactive in Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, however, giving Singletary's fantasy football outlook a massive boost.

There's still no word on why Moss was scratched, but his status makes Singletary the clear leader of the backfield for the week.

Moss missed three games last season, and that stretch saw Singletary function as a true lead back, playing over 85% of the Bills' offensive snaps in two of those three contests. They fed him 14.0 carries and 4.0 targets per game during that stretch.

He only turned that volume into 12.8 PPR fantasy points per game, but don't be too concerned about that. He averaged 77.0 yards from scrimmage per game, but happened to only score 1 touchdown in those three games.

Touchdowns tend to be a pretty high-variance stat, and the heavy workload in one of the league's best offenses is more than enough to make him a strong fantasy football option this week.
