Updated (Sunday, Dec. 20, 11:30 a.m. EST): Though it looked like DeVante Parker was trending toward playing, he has been officially ruled out. Mike Gesicki and Jakeem Grant will miss Week 15 as well. This news gives Lynn Bowden's fantasy outlook a significant boost, as he's primed for a big role against a beatable New England Patriots' defense. He's a great FLEX option in Week 15. Miami Dolphins No. 1 wide receiver DeVante Parker has been dealing with a hamstring injury all week, but may be able to suit up and play against the New England Patriots in Week 15. If that is the case, the fantasy outlook of rookie Lynn Bowden takes a big hit.

DeVante Parker Fantasy Outlook

Parker should resume his usual workload if he's able to suit up against the Patriots.

The wideout was averaging 7.3 targets and 56.4 yards per contest prior to leaving last week's game early due to his hamstring injury. He was averaging 9.0 targets, 5.2 receptions and 62.0 yards in his last five games prior to Week 14's early exit.

Assuming he plays, he'll face a New England defense that is allowing 33.53 fantasy points (PPR) per game, which is tied for the seventh-fewest in the league.

Lynn Bowden Fantasy Outlook

Bowden came out of nowhere in the last two weeks, hauling in 11 of 13 targets for 123 yards in that span. He played in a career-high 71% of the team's offensive snaps last week, but is due for some regression with Parker likely back in the lineup.

While Bowden remains a relevant fantasy football player with FLEX potential, he loses a lot of the upside that would come with starting him due to Parker playing. There is a big difference in being the No. 1 receiver in an offense versus being the No. 2 receiver.

Jakeem Grant Fantasy Outlook

While it looks like Parker may give it a go, that doesn't seem to be the case for fellow wide receiver Jakeem Grant. He is not expected to play this week as he continues to battle a hamstring injury. Grant has seen an average of 4.8 targets per game over his last five games played and scored a touchdown back in Week 10.

Grant's absence will help Bowden see some targets this week. Bowden was able to slide into Grant's role in the offense last week as he also missed that game. It was a major reason why Bowden had his best performance of the season so far.
