Deebo Samuel Fantasy Outlook Still Uncertain Following Injury Update

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel has been plagued by injuries this season, limiting him to just four games played. With Samuel limited in practice this week due to his nagging hamstring injury, he is once again an uncertain option for fantasy managers.

Deebo Samuel Fantasy Outlook
Samuel first appeared for the 49ers in Week 4, managing to stay healthy until Week 7, when he suffered a hamstring injury in the second half against the New England Patriots. In his four games played, the wideout averaged 5.5 targets, 4 receptions, and 46.3 yards per game.
Samuel's most notable fantasy outing came in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Rams, when he totaled 18 fantasy points (PPR) with 6 receptions, 66 yards, and 1 TD. For the season, he's averaging 10.5 fantasy points a game, although he has two games with under 8 fantasy points, showcasing his boom-or-bust production.
If you're looking at Samuel as a possible WR2/3 option this week, you'll have to hope he can repeat his Week 6 production, as he will face the Rams again in Week 12. Still, he's a risky play given his injury status and the fact that Los Angeles allows the least fantasy points to WRs (28.83) per game this season.
