DeAndre Hopkins Injury Update Crushes Week 11 Fantasy Outlook

It looks like the Arizona Cardinals haven't gotten over the injury bug just yet. Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has missed the last two games due to a hamstring injury and his latest update does not come with good news. The Pro Bowl wideout has now been downgraded to out for Week 11, too.
#AZCardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury tells reporters that WR DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) is out Sunday, while Kyler Murray (ankle) is a game-time decision again. He has missed the last two games.

DeAndre Hopkins Injury Update
Hamstring injuries can be tricky for players who use their burst and speed out on the field like Hopkins does. The Cardinals' top receiver needs at least another week before returning. Hopkins is averaging 13.9 yards per reception this season as well as 6.1 targets per game (8 games played).
This obviously crushes any fantasy value the ninth-year pro had for Week 11. Fantasy managers simply need to sit tight and wait it out as Hopkins ranks as the WR18 in PPR scoring leagues when looking at a points-per-game basis. He is a clear-cut WR1 when healthy and will hopefully be back in Week 12.
Christian Kirk Fantasy Outlook
The main beneficiary of Hopkins' absence has been Christian Kirk and there is no reason to believe that'll change against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Kirk has racked up 13 of his team-high 14 targets over the last two weeks for 149 yards while playing in 91% of the offensive snaps.
His outlook could be boosted even more if starting quarterback Kyler Murray is healthy enough to suit up. The Seahawks have posted the eighth-worst pass defense DVOA rating in the NFL and are allowing the fourth-most passing yards per game (275.3).
It wouldn't be surprising to see head coach Kliff Kingsbury lean on the air game, which bodes well for Kirk in fantasy football. He has WR2 upside this week and is the perfect player to slide into a FLEX spot.
