The Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals played a thrilling game on Thursday Night Football that came down to the final minute. That's when Packers cornerback Rasul Douglas picked off Kyler Murray on what would've been the game-winning touchdown pass.
It turns out Cardinals star receiver DeAndre Hopkins was caught talking trash about Douglas before he came up big.
Hopkins told his team to attack Douglas' back shoulder during their Thursday Night Football Game. He also claimed Douglas was "scared."
Those words certainly came back to bite the Arizona pass-catcher. Murray threw a back-shoulder pass to A.J. Green on the game-deciding play, which Green completely missed and Douglas hauled in for an interception to seal the Cardinals' fate.
What makes the moment even sweeter is that Green Bay signed Douglas off of Arizona's practice squad earlier this season. The journeyman CB making the game-winning play against the Cardinals was the perfect ending, and one Hopkins won't forget.
