Dawson Knox Fantasy Outlook Makes Him Strong TE Option Against Weak Dolphins Defense in Week 7

Dawson Knox has been the Buffalo Bills' top tight end all year, not playing fewer than 50 percent of their offensive snaps in any game, but his workload has really picked up in recent games. His last outing saw him post season-high marks in both snap rate (72 percent) and targets (five) against the Tennessee Titans.
That increase positions him especially well in Week 7, as Knox and the Bills get an outstanding matchup against the Miami Dolphins.

Tyler Kroft has returned to practice, so he could cut into Knox's workload some, but a broken foot has sidelined Kroft since Week 5 of the 2018 season, so we can expect him to be eased back into things.
Knox's ceiling for volume still looks to be relatively low with Josh Allen favoring his wide receivers in the passing game, but Knox has now seen at least four targets in three of his last four games, and with his up-tick in playing time, we can expect his target volume to at least remain consistent.
A matchup with the Dolphins means we should also expect plenty of efficiency. Miami has allowed opponents both the most yards and points per game so far in 2019 while giving up top-12 fantasy production to opposing tight ends. The Bills are one of the best offenses for fantasy football this week.

Combining an elite matchup with an upward trend in volume, Knox is a top streaming tight end option and sits 12th at the position in our Week 7 PPR fantasy football rankings.
