Davante Adams Injury Update Hurts Fantasy Value in Week 8 Against Chiefs
By Zach Brunner | Oct 26 2019

Davante Adams injured his toe during career-best receiving performance, catching 10 passes for 180 receiving yards, against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 4.
He has been sidelined since the injury, missing three consecutive games. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the Green Bay Packers' star wide receiver is returning on Sunday, as he's officially listed as doubtful for the team's Week 8 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Davante Adams is ... DOUBTFUL for Sunday.

Adams got in some very limited work in practice this week, but all signs point to him being out. The Chiefs will officially be without Patrick Mahomes on Sunday night, so the Packers don't have nearly as much incentive to risk playing Adams as they would otherwise.
If Adams is ruled out, it opens up opportunities for the rest of Green Bay's receiving corps. Marquez Valdes-Scantling once again figures to be the biggest beneficiary after putting up 133 yards and a touchdown last week.

Fellow wide receivers Geronimo Allison and Jake Kumerow would also benefit from a potential increase in targets, and the same goes for Packers' tight end Jimmy Graham.
Valdes-Scantling clocks in as the WR34 in our Week 8 fantasy football PPR rankings, though Allison and Kumerow are unranked, while Graham sits at TE11.
