It's been a rollercoaster season for the Las Vegas Raiders, but one of their few constants this year has been the production of Davante Adams. Adams has lived up to the hype as the team's new No. 1 receiver after coming over from the Green Bay Packers, providing elite production week in and week out.
In fact, Adams is poised to make Raiders history with another big game during their upcoming Thursday Night Football matchup against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 14.
Davante Adams News
One of the storylines for Thursday's primetime matchup is Adams going for his eighth game with at least 100 receiving yards this year. If he gets it, that will be a new team record.
The five-time Pro Bowler seems like a good bet to make history tonight after topping 100 receiving yards in four of his last five games, picking up the slack with Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller out. He's also coming off a season-high 177 yards against the Los Angeles Chargers last week, setting him up for another monster game.
It also helps that Adams has torched the Rams throughout his career, eclipsing the century mark for yardage in both of his regular-season games against them. With LA giving up the 11th-most passing yards per game this year, the banged-up Rams are an exploitable matchup for Adams.
More important for the Raiders, they are going for their fourth straight win tonight as they look to get back in the playoff hunt. They're currently favored by 6.5 points on the road via FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
