Darren Waller Injury Update Clouds Week 7 Fantasy Outlook
By Larry Rupp

Updated (Sunday, Oct. 24, 2:35 p.m. EST): Darren Waller has officially been ruled out of Week 7. Foster Moreau should see an uptick in usage here, but there are likely better options available on the waiver wire.

The Las Vegas Raiders made a late addition to the injury report on Saturday and it was a big one. Tight end Darren Waller is now questionable to play in Week 7 with an ankle injury. Fantasy managers need to have a backup plan ready to go as the Raiders face the Philadelphia Eagles at 4:05 p.m. EST.
Raiders’ TE Darren Waller, who was added to the injury report Saturday with an ankle issue, doesn't "feel great" and Las Vegas is not expected to know until pregame warmups whether he can play today against the Eagles.https://t.co/hNcxs38nqw

Darren Waller Fantasy Outlook
Waller is considered a game-time decision and his status will ultimately come down to how he feels during warmups. Reports claim the Pro Bowler strained the inner side of his ankle and heel when he was tripped by a teammate during Friday's practice.
Losing Waller this week would be a massive blow to a Raiders offense that is looking to build some consistency in the passing game. The 29-year-old leads the team in targets (53) and receptions (33). He has also scored 2 touchdowns on the year and is averaging a reliable 11.5 yards per catch.
Fantasy managers have to keep an eye on any updates that come out on Sunday. If Waller is able to play, he is worth starting. The Eagles are allowing the 10th-most PPR fantasy points to opposing TEs this season. Philadelphia has also allowed 5 touchdowns to the position, which ties for the highest mark in the NFL.
Waller has shown in the past that he has what it takes to overcome and injury and we'll see if he can do it again. He checks in at TE2 in The Duel's Week 7 fantasy football rankings.
