The Detroit Lions face off with the division-rival Green Bay Packers today, which is always in important matchup for the franchise. While it could be a one-sided affair, the Lions' offense does see a boost with the likely return of rookie running back D'Andre Swift.

Given the matchup, Swift looks like a great fantasy football option in Week 14.

D'Andre Swift Fantasy Outlook

Swift has missed the past couple of weeks for Detroit. First, he was in concussion protocol. He cleared protocol last week, but missed another game due to a non-COVID related illness. While he has been limited in practices, Swift is now expected to make his return to the lineup.

When we last saw Swift, he was just beginning to see a much larger workload. He had seen back-to-back double-digit carry games, running for 145 yards on 29 attempts in those two matchups. The Georgia product also caught 8 passes for 101 yards and a touchdown during that stretch.

The matchup against the Packers is a good one. Green Bay has allowed the third-most PPR points to running backs this season.

A threat on the ground and through the air, Swift appears to be a rock-solid RB2 option in Week 14.
