The Dallas Cowboys lost just their third game of the 2021 season in Week 11, and now must look quickly ahead to a Thursday Thanksgiving Day matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Unfortunately, the short week of preparation and rest may end up in the loss of Dallas' two leading wide receivers.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported an update on CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper on Monday morning.

CeeDee Lamb Injury Update

Lamb left Week 11's loss to the surging Kansas City Chiefs in the second quarter and did not return because of a potential concussion. The Cowboys' most-targeted pass catcher (77) will now just have three days to clear concussion protocols, which can be a difficult process.

Dallas has yet to release an official Monday update on Lamb, but the short week is of obvious concern.

Amari Cooper Update

Amari Cooper did not hit the field in Week 11 because of a positive COVID-19 test result last week. He will also miss Week 12's Thanksgiving Day matchup as a result of his unvaccinated status.

Cooper's loss was certainly felt against the Chiefs as Dallas managed just 196 passing yards, the team's second-lowest mark of the season.

The Cowboys enter Week 12 as 7-point home favorites, according to betting odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
