Only a couple days after trade rumors started swirling, the Denver Broncos sent Emmanuel Sanders to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for draft picks.

One of the Broncos' top offensive players, Sanders' departure opens the door for other players to now see expanded volume moving forward. The two that stand to benefit the most when it comes to fantasy football are wideouts Courtland Sutton and DaeSean Hamilton.

Sutton had already been experiencing a breakout season, with at least seven targets in all seven contests while averaging 5.1 receptions and 80.6 yards per game. Sanders wasn't too far behind, with 44 targets of his own, and while this may not translate to a huge uptick in volume for Sutton, it does make his weekly floor that much safer, as the true go-to receiving option for QB Joe Flacco.

DaeSean Hamilton Fantasy Outlook

Hamilton is the only other Broncos receiver with more than even two targets on the season, catching 11 of 22 for 106 yards. Used primarily in the short passing game, with a 5.2-yard average depth of target, compared to 14.3 for Sutton, he may be forced to expand his route tree a bit with Sanders (10.6) gone.

That means Hamilton gets a boost to both his floor and ceiling, with a likely increase in targets while also having those targets become more valuable with more potential downfield work.

Hamilton is still only a fringe fantasy play in the Broncos' inefficient passing attack, but he does make for a solid waiver wire sleeper add heading into Week 8. Sutton remains a high-end WR2, and he sits at WR14 in our Week 8 PPR fantasy football rankings.
