The Indianapolis Colts look like legitimate contenders this season. But even after adding Philip Rivers, there are still a few spots on the roster that the team could look to improve.

With that in mind, let's take a look at the Colts' three biggest needs following free agency.

3. Tight End

After losing Eric Ebron, the Colts could stand to add some depth at tight end. While Jack Doyle played a full 16-game campaign in 2019, he's missed a combined 11 games over the previous two seasons. He only racked up 448 receiving yards last season, and adding another pass-catching threat could really help diversify this offense.

2. Edge Rusher

Thanks to the DeForest Buckner addition, the Colts should have a really strong interior pass-rush. Their edge rush is a different story, though. Justin Houston turned in a really strong season with 11 sacks, but they could stand to add a complement to him on the edge. With Jabaal Sheard likely leaving in free agency, this is a real area of need for the team.

1. Wide Receiver

When T.Y. Hilton is on the field, he's still one of the league's premier deep threats. He's struggled to stay healthy, though, missing six games last year. Last season, Zach Pascal lead the team with just 607 receiving yards, suggesting that the team really needs to upgrade its skill-position group. Without many top-tier talents available in free agency, the Colts could turn to the NFL Draft to find another wideout.
