College Football Playoff Odds Favor Clemson With Alabama, Ohio State and LSU Close Behind
By Max Staley

The No. 4 Clemson Tigers haven't looked nearly as dominant as they did last season, despite what their 7-0 record might indicate. Trevor Lawrence's play has fallen off significantly, throwing 14 TDs to eight interceptions through seven games, after he tossed 30 TDs to just four INTs last year.
And yet, at +170, Clemson is still the favorite to win the 2019 College Football Playoff prior to Week 9's Saturday kickoffs, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Following Clemson is the team the Tigers defeated in last season's national championship, the Alabama Crimson Tide (+250). Alabama has gotten off to a predictably dominant start, ripping off seven straight wins, but they'll be without Heisman hopeful Tua Tagovailoa for the next few weeks.
Ohio State will have a chance to improve its odds, which sit at +500 right now, as the No. 3 Buckeyes face off with the No. 13 Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday afternoon. The Buckeyes have been flat-out dominant in 2019, defeating all seven opponents by at least 24 points this season.
