Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones has become arguably the most impactful defensive player on this entire unit after an incredible postseason with KC that led to their first Super Bowl win in 50 years last season.
Yet, it appears as though his latest contribution to this roster came in an off-the-field form of helping to influence former New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell's decision to join the Chiefs after he was surprisingly cut by the Jets earlier this month.
In fact, according to a report by James Palmer, Jones has been advocating for Bell to come to Kansas City as far back as two years ago, as the two have trained with one another in the offseason.
Jones even joked with Bell about not making another mistake in choosing where he would land after a rather disappointing stay with the Jets that came to an abrupt ending this season.
As if having one of the league's former best running backs joining an already-loaded arsenal of weapons in KC wasn't exciting enough, it's even better knowing the kind of chemistry that already exists between Bell and the Chiefs.
