Chris Carson is having a terrific season for fantasy football purposes, ranking ninth among RBs in PPR scoring heading into Week 8. That success continued in a prime matchup with the Atlanta Falcons in Week 9, rushing the ball 20 times for 90 yards and a touchdown.

This marks five straight games in which Carson has rushed the ball 20 times or more, with at least 90 yards in four of the five. He also scored at least 15 PPR points in four of those five games.

The Seahawks have been one of the most run-heavy teams in the NFL this year, entering Week 8 with the fourth-highest run play percentage, though Carson has also been heavily involved in the passing game. Week 8 was the first time all season he didn't catch a single pass, and he's already set a career high with 27 targets in 2019.

Carson's fantasy outlook in the next couple weeks is hurt a bit by some tough matchups. In Week 9, he takes on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and in Week 10 it's the San Francisco 49ers, both of whom rank top 12 in Football Outsiders' run defense DVOA rankings. With his elite workload and fantasy production this year, though, Carson is a must-start player as one of the top RBs in fantasy football.
