Chiefs News: Tyreek Hill Confident in WR Group After Sammy Watkins Departure

The Kansas City Chiefs weren't shy about turning over their offense this offseason in search of upgrades. However, one area that might've downgraded is the wide receiving corps behind Tyreek Hill after Sammy Watkins left in free agency and the team missed out on JuJu Smith-Schuster.
However, Hill isn't sweating the team's current WR room.

Hill admitted it'll be "tough" without Watkins in town, but he's confident in the receivers on the roster to step up and replace the deep threat's production.
"Mecole [Hardman] has played, D-Rob [Demarcus Robinson] has played in Super Bowls. [Byron] Pringle. I feel like we’re going to be all right. We’ve been playing football our whole entire lives, so it’s nothing new for us.”

Having All-Pro players in Hill and Travis Kelce to lean on in the passing game certainly helps mitigate the loss of Watkins. But the Chiefs boast a slew of options like Mecole Hardman, Demarcus Robinson, Byron Pringle and fifth-round pick Cornell Powell to turn to as well.
If one of those secondary wideouts breaks out, it'll gave a major boost to Kansas City's offense in 2021 as they look to return to the Super Bowl.
