Chiefs Get Great News on Tyreek Hill Injury Update

The Kansas City Chiefs will look to keep pace in a tough AFC West division in Week 7 and need their top wide receiver healthy in order to do so. Fortunately, it is good news in regards to Tyreek Hill. The speedster returned to practice on Friday and is on track to play Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.

Tyreek Hill Injury Update
Hills has been dealing with a quad injury that caused him to miss practice earlier this week and be labeled as questionable to play. He only played in 47 offensive snaps last Sunday (57%), but things are continuing to trend in the right direction. Head coach Andy Reid is hopeful Hill suits up in Week 7.
All things considered, this is great news. Having the 27-year-old pass-catcher out on the field is crucial for a Chiefs' team that is averaging 308.5 passing yards per game (No. 2 in the NFL). Hill has hauled in 46 of his team-high 63 targets for 592 yards and 5 touchdowns through six games played.
This could be the matchup that Hill exploits for a big game given Tennessee's inability to shut down opposing passing attacks. In fact, the Titans have given up the most receiving yards to opposing wide receivers in 2021 as well as 10 touchdowns, which ties for the highest mark in the NFL.
Keep an eye on any updates released about Hill before kickoff on Sunday afternoon. While he is expected to play, anything can happen in the next two days. The Chiefs head into Week 7 as 4.5-point road favorites against the Titans, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
