With an 84-60 record heading into the final weeks of the 2022 MLB season, the St. Louis Cardinals appear to be playoff bound for the fourth straight year. With the postseason right around the corner, the organization has revealed the details behind its playoff ticket sale.

Cardinals playoff tickets go on sale beginning on Friday, Sept. 16 at 3 p.m. ET. Fans will have access to purchase tickets for the first two rounds of the postseason, with tickets starting as low as $20. That's a terrific deal to be able to see playoff baseball at Busch Stadium.

St. Louis Cardinals Postseason Tickets

For the time being, fans can buy tickets to each of the three potential NL Wild Card and three possible NL Division Series games. While some people prefer buying their tickets online, others can purchase them at the box office as of 11 a.m. ET on Monday, Sept. 19.

The NL standings are far from finalized, so it remains to be seen who the Cardinals will face to begin the postseason. With the way things are going, St. Louis would finish behind the LA Dodgers and New York Mets as far as NL division leaders go. That means the Cards would host a three-game Wild Card series at Busch Stadium from Oct. 7-9.

Regardless of who they face in the playoffs, the Cardinals fans will pack the stadium. It's been over a decade since St. Louis last won the World Series. Considering how this is Yadier Molina's last season (and perhaps Adam Wainwright's too), it'd be fitting if the Cardinals won the championship this fall.

Cardinals World Series Odds

Fortunately, oddsmakers do see the Cardinals as potential title threats this postseason. As of mid-September, St. Louis has the seventh-best 2022 World Series odds (+1700) on FanDuel Sportsbook.
