Buccaneers Release Epic Throwback Jersey Teaser for 2023 Season

The 2023 offseason has brought a ton of changes to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With several key losses and the retirement of Tom Brady, Tampa Bay will look very different this upcoming campaign.

Leaning into that new-look mentality, the Buccaneers released a teaser for an addition to their jersey rotation in 2023.

Tampa Bay's Twitter account posted a video Wednesday morning that features former mascot Bucco Bruce sitting down and writing something down on a piece of paper. The epic clip is accompanied by some dramatic music that swells before showing what Bruce wrote: "I'm back."

This video, plus the caption featuring an orange heart, confirms the return of the team's beloved "Creamsicle" jerseys in 2023. This throwback kit was postponed due to supply issues that prevented their debut last year, but now they're set to join the rotation once again.

Tampa Bay stopped wearing these memorable orange unis in 2013 after the league implemented a rule of only one helmet per player due to safety reasons. Now that the NFL has allowed throwbacks to return, the Bucs will be able to turn back time in 2023.
