The Tampa Bay Buccaneers look to keep their perfect season alive when they host the Green Bay Packers for NFL Week 3 action. Winning won't be easy for the Bucs, though, as they're dealing with injuries to key players such as Leonard Fournette, Chris Godwin and Julio Jones.

The Buccaneers received injury updates on the aforementioned trio, leading to the fans receiving quite the mixed bag of news.

Leonard Fournette Injury Update

On the positive side, Fournette was a participant in Thursday's practice. The veteran running back was a limited participant during Wednesday's session with a nagging hamstring injury, but the latest updates indicate that he'll likely be a full-go on Sunday.

Fournette has been a force this season, turning 45 carries into 192 rushing yards while also turning four carries into 19 receiving yards. Tampa Bay's wide receiver room is fairly banged up, so the Bucs will be counting on the former LSU Tiger for a major performance against the Packers.

Chris Godwin Injury Update

It wasn't all good news, though. Godwin wasn't a participant in Thursday's practice as a hamstring injury continues to bother him as well. The veteran wideout has yet to make his 2022 debut after suffering an ACL tear last season.

Considering how Godwin also missed Wednesday's practice, his Week 3 playing status could be in jeopardy. Whether or not he practices on Friday should give fans a better idea as to whether or not he'll be at Raymond James Stadium this Sunday.

Julio Jones Injury Update

Like Godwin, Jones was also absent from the latest practice session. The seven-time Pro-Bowler has been sidelined with a knee injury that's held him to just one practice over the last two weeks, which took place last Friday.

Jones showed flashes of a bounce-back performance in his Bucs debut back in Week 1, tallying 69 receiving yards on three catches while turning two carries into 17 yards. He seems to have decent chemistry with Tom Brady, meaning the Bucs' passing game will be dealt a blow if Jones can't play for the second straight week.
