The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are fresh off of their Super Bowl LV win, but they'll face some hard realities heading into the 2021 offseason with several key free agents. One major player set to hit free agency is running back Leoanrd Fournette, who was a breakout performer on the Bucs' road to the championship.

Fournette will likely command a big payday, and the Bucs may need to hunt for a cheaper replacement. With that in mind, here are three free agents Tampa can sign if Fournette departs this offseason.

Leonard Fournette Replacements

3. Todd Gurley

Todd Gurley's bounce-back season with the Atlanta Falcons came crashing down midway through the year, as Gurley was demoted to just a part in the Falcons' RB committee. After rushing for 584 yards and 9 TDs through Week 9, the 26-year-old only registered 94 yards and 0 scores in the team's final six games. Gurley's poor finish to the 2020 campaign could make him a buy-low candidate for Tampa to reload its talent as they hope to defend their title.

2. Mark Ingram

Mark Ingram is another former Pro Bowler coming off of a down season. Following an impressive 2019 campaign where he rushed for over 1,000 yards, Ingram totaled just 299 rushing yards in 2020. Still, he could be a cheaper option to go along with Ronald Jones and carry the load if needed. Ingram averaged 38.3 receptions from 2014-2019 as well, so he could theoretically step into the dual-threat role that Fournette filled in the playoffs.

1. Adrian Peterson

Veteran running back Adrian Peterson is showing no signs of slowing down even at almost 36 years old. AP found himself carrying the load for the Detroit Lions due to the team's injury struggles, and he delivered with 604 yards for 7 TDs. Peterson has already stated his interest in signing with the Bucs and competing for a ring to close out his career, so Tampa could get the veteran for a discount. He's no spring chicken, but he's still got some juice left, and he'd be a great insurance policy in case anything happens to Jones again.
