The severely depleted Cleveland Browns could not muster enough offense on Monday night, falling to the Las Vegas Raiders, 16-14, in what was considered a must-win game.

Cleveland's odds to make the NFL Playoffs have come crashing down as a result, according to the latest betting odds on FanDuel Sportsbook. The Browns held +104 odds to make the playoffs prior to Week 15, but those odds have crashed down to +410 as of Tuesday morning.

Browns Playoff Odds

It's impressive how Cleveland played considering the roster was down 22 members overall, and 10 starters, due to a massive COVID-19 outbreak. The NFL even moved this game from Saturday to allow the Browns enough time to field a semi-healthy roster.

Without Baker Mayfield under center, backup Nick Mullens managed just 147 passing yards despite 30 attempts. Las Vegas was clearly able to focus on the run and held Nick Chubb to just 4.0 yards per carry on his 23 rushing attempts.

Cleveland falls to 7-7 on the year and have now fallen to last place in the very tight AFC North division. To make matters worse, the Browns now hold just +8500 odds to win Super Bowl LVI on FanDuel Sportsbook, in what's been simply a disappointment of a 2021 season.
