The Cleveland Browns have weathered numerous injuries on defense to begin the season. One player they've missed is starting cornerback Denzel Ward, who's been sidelined by a concussion he suffered in Week 5.

The latest news on Ward is huge for Cleveland.

The CB responded with an emphatic "yessir!" when asked if he'll play on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. Ward told reporters he "can't wait" to return, so it seems like he has no plans to miss another contest.

Getting Ward back will be a massive boost for Cleveland's defense. He's been an active playmaker in the secondary, recording 6 passes defended, 1 interception and a fumble recovery for a touchdown over his first five games.

Ward's return is even more significant with the Browns taking on a high-powered Dolphins aerial attack in Week 10. Speedy deep threats Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle have been major problems for opposing defenses this season, but having Ward back puts Cleveland in better position to slow them down.

Sunday's matchup between AFC contenders should be full of excitement. Cleveland enters this contest as 3.5-point underdogs, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
