The Denver Broncos have been absolutely decimated by injuries this season. Big-name stars like Courtland Sutton, Von Miller and Jurrell Casey were lost for the year early on. Drew Lock hasn't been able to avoid the injury bug either, as he's been sidelined since Week 2 with a shoulder injury.

Thankfully, Lock was able to practice in full on Wednesday. That should put him on track to make his return to the field this Sunday, when the Broncos take on the New England Patriots.

Drew Lock Injury Update

After being a full participant in Wednesday's practice, it would be a surprise if we didn't see Lock start the game on Sunday. Lock apparently even had a chance to make his debut last week, as he was listed as questionable after getting in some limited work throughout the week.

The fact that the game was pushed back due to covid-related scheduling issues could ultimately turn out to be a blessing in disguise for Denver, as it gave the Missouri product another week to recover.

It looks like Lock will be out there this Sunday, but Brett Rypien will likely start if he's unable to suit up.
