The Denver Broncos had a disappointing 5-11 campaign last season but this team is fired up with a new quarterback in town for 2021. Teddy Bridgewater could take over at quarterback, but the competition may push Drew Lock to elevate his game as well.

And with the 2021 NFL Schedule officially released, Denver has a good chance at a quick start next season.

Denver kicks off next season with a series of three games against teams that struggled 2020. This includes a Week 1 matchup at the New York Giants, a Week 2 game at the Jacksonville Jaguars and a Week 3 home opener against the New York Jets.

FanDuel Sportsbook is in total agreement with this early stretch with official early odds out for the first two weeks of the season. FanDuel has the Broncos favored -1 against the Giants in Week 1 and -2.5 against the Jaguars in Week 2.

The odds aren't out for the Week 3 matchup with the Jets, but New York was awful last season with a 2-14 record. They also moved on to a rookie quarterback with Zach Wilson so it's possible the Broncos are favored in their first three games.

Pulling this schedule out a little further, the Broncos only have three 2020 playoff teams on the slate for the first 10 games of the season. That includes a Week 4 home game with the Baltimore Ravens, Week 5 at the Pittsburgh Steelers and Week 7 at the Cleveland Browns. The other seven games are against teams with .500 or losing records last year.

This favorable schedule gives the Broncos a real shot at getting out to a quick start. It could be three straight wins and perhaps five, six or seven wins in the first 10. Time will tell, but fans should love this early slate of games.
