Bring in the Backups: Bench Players You Can Start in Week 11 Fantasy Football
By Dan Israeli

With just three weeks left in the fantasy football regular season, many teams will be in must-win situations this Sunday. With four teams on bye (New York Giants, Green Bay Packers, Seattle Seahawks and Tennessee Titans), owners will likely need to look to their benches for viable options in what should be a crucial Week 11.
There are some intriguing options to consider this weekend, including one dynamic rookie running back who will step into the spotlight with a potential featured role. Here are three bench guys you can start for Week 11 of the fantasy football season.
1. Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, San Francisco 49ers (Started in 47 Percent of Yahoo! Leagues)
It may be hard for owners to trust Jimmy Garoppolo again, after his underwhelming performance in Week 10 against the Seattle Seahawks. He was without George Kittle and Emmanuel Sanders (who exited the game with a rib injury), but is hopeful to get Sanders back for the San Francisco 49ers' Week 11 tilt with the Arizona Cardinals. The matchup couldn't be better, as Arizona gives up the most fantasy points to quarterbacks. Jimmy G had his best game of the season (317 yards, four TDs) against the Cardinals in Week 9, and should have another strong outing even if his receiving corps aren't at full strength.
2. Miles Sanders, RB, Philadelphia Eagles (Started in 20 Percent of Yahoo! Leagues)
It's been an uneven season for Philadelphia Eagles' rookie running back Miles Sanders, who has impressed with his athleticism, but also struggled in his decision making as a rusher. Still, he's had a prevalent role in the passing game (22 catches for 305 yards) and will now be looking at his highest workload of the season if Jordan Howard cannot suit up due to a neck stinger. While the matchup against the New England Patriots is less than ideal, Sanders has plenty of talent and plays behind one of the best run-blocking offensive lines in football. He has the chance for a breakout game in Sunday's rematch of Super Bowl LI.
3. Deebo Samuel, WR, San Francisco 49ers (Started in 32 Percent in Yahoo! Leagues)
Another rookie who has shown glimpses of brilliance this year, Deebo Samuel had one of his best games of the season in Week 10 against the Seahawks, grabbing eight balls for 112 yards. Samuel possesses great after-the-catch ability, and shined as Garoppolo's number one option with Kittle and Sanders off the field. If Sanders is forced to sit with his rib injury, Samuel can command another 10+ targets in a good matchup against the Cardinals, who give up ninth most fantasy points to wide receivers. Even if Sanders suits up, Samuel has emerged as the number two option in the San Francisco passing game for as long as Kittle is out.
