One of the year's biggest weekends in horse racing is upon us with the 2022 Breeders' Cup bringing 14 races across two days on November 4th and 5th.

The races kick off on Friday, but Saturday features a number of exciting races for fans and bettors. The Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf race goes down on Saturday with $1 million on the line. It is a 7-furlong race which is "North America's richest race for female sprinters."

The contenders were announced on Wednesday, so here's everything you need to know about the field before wagering on the Breeders' Cup Classic on FanDuel Racing.

1. Ce Ce

Jockey: TBD
Trainer: Michael W. McCarthy
Breeder: Bo Hirsch L.L.C.
Owner: Bo Hirsch

Ce Ce has three wins this year in six races, and has only finished outside the top three once.

2. Chain of Love

Jockey: TBD
Trainer: Michiro Ogasa
Breeder: Northern Hills Co. LTD
Owner: Koji Maeda

In five starts this year, Chain of Love only has one win, but has 3 show finishes. Chain of Love only had one win in seven starts in 2021.

3. Chi Town Lady

Breeder: Castleton Lyons, Kilboy Estate & Gavin Tierney
Owner: Castleton Lyons

Chi Town Lady only has three starts in 2022, but did get a Grade 1 win at Saratoga and a place at Churchill Downs.

4. Echo Zulu

Echo Zulu has three starts in 2022, but has won twice, including one win at Churchill Downs in September.

5. Edgeway

Breeder: Pope McLean, Valerie Blethen & David Blethen
Owner: Hronis Racing LLC (Kosta Hronis)

Edgeway has been impressive this year, grabbing three wins in four starts so far in 2022, but failed to finish in the top three in the other race.

6. Frank's Rockette

Frank's Rockette has raced four times this year, and in those four races has placed three times and won once.

7. Goodnight Olive

Breeder: Stonestreet Thoroughbred Holdings LLC
Owner: First Row Partners (Steve Laymon) & Team Hanley (Jay Hanley)

Goodnight Olive has had a dominant start to her career, racing a total of six times, but comig away with five wins and a place finish.

8. Hot Peppers

Owner: Michael Dubb & Michael J. Caruso

The Florida-based Hot Peppers has five wins already in 2022, i eight total starts. Throw in one place finish and you've got a solid track record coming into this one.

9. Kimari

Owner: Mrs. John Magnier, Michael Tabor, Derrick Smith and Westerberg Limited (Michael Kuessner)

Kimari's five starts in 2022 have yielded three wins and a show finish. However, two of those wins came in the last two races, so she comes here on a bit of a streak.

10. Lady Rocket

In five 2022 starts, Lady Rocket has one win, one place and one show finish, but 7 wins in her 16 career starts.

11. Letruska

Letruska is a veteran among this bunch, with 28 races under the belt already, and 19 career wins. In 2022, she has two wins and a show finish in five starts.

12. Obligatory

Obligatory only has four starts in 2022, but she has two wins, one place and one show finish in those starts.

13. Slammed

Like Obligatory, Slammed sits at only four races on the year, but does have three wins and one place finish. Never finishing outside the top two this year is something you have to like.

14. Wicked Halo

In 10 career starts, Wicked Halo has only finished outside the top three once, which includes six wins. in 2022, she has four wins in seven starts.
