Ronald Acuna Jr. is on fire to start the 2021 MLB season and finds himself in the thick of the NL MVP race. Acuna's production this year has helped keep an Atlanta Braves team ravaged by injuries afloat in the NL East.
However, it was Acuna who appeared to be bit by the injury bug during Sunday's win against the Miami Marlins. But Braves fans can breathe a sigh of relief after the latest update on the team's star.

Braves manager Brian Snitker says Acuna's injury isn't expected to linger, which is great news. Adding on to that, the outfielder could be back in the lineup as soon as Tuesday.
It's good to hear that Acuna should be ready to go with a day off for treatment on Monday. The 23-year-old has racked up 18 home runs, 39 RBI and 12 stolen bases this season while slashing .282/.390/.597.
The Braves currently own a 30-33 record, which places them five games back of the NL East-leading New York Mets. Atlanta has the second-best odds to capture the division on FanDuel Sportsbook at +460.
