Bills Re-Sign Familiar Face to Improve Wide Receiver Depth

The Buffalo Bills won their fourth straight game in Week 14 and hold the AFC East lead at 10-3. However, despite their good standing, it's not stopping them from adding a familiar face back to the locker room.
Cole Beasley Signing With Bills
The Bills announced on Tuesday morning they were re-signing wideout Cole Beasley. The veteran wide receiver spent three seasons in Buffalo from 2019-2021. He did briefly sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this season, but only appeared in two games and was a non-factor.
A reunion in Buffalo: WR Cole Beasley is coming out of retirement and expected to sign with the #Bills’ practice squad, sources say. Beasley saw loads of success in Buffalo, especially in 2020, when he had his career-best season at age 31. He recorded career highs in both receptions (82) and yards (967).
Josh Allen was reportedly pivotal in bringing back Beasley, and after speaking with the rest of the team, the move was made.

I was just told this is all Josh Allen. He’s specifically asked for Brown & Beasley. The team was approached about the move. Not one player in the locker room opposed. #Bills
Beasley is singing with the practice squad, but it probably won't be long before he's elevated to the active roster. The Bills have Week 15 matchup with the Miami Dolphins, where Buffalo is a 7.5-point home favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
