When Brian Daboll joined the New York Giants as their new head coach, the move left the Buffalo Bills without an offensive coordinator. Since then, the Bills have promoted quarterbacks coach Ken Dorsey to take over Daboll's old position.
While Bills fans are already familiar with Dorsey's work, they'll be thrilled to know that a pair of Buffalo Pro Bowlers are enthusiastic about their new offensive coordinator.
Ken Dorsey Buffalo Bills
One of the Pro Bowlers in question is none other than standout wide receiver Stefon Diggs. The 28-year-old veteran said that even though Dorsey coached the quarterbacks, he still had a relationship with the rest of the roster, calling him a "good coach."
"He's been a good guy. I respect [Dorsey]. I feel like we've all built a relationship with our coaching staff even the guys that aren't in your room."- Stefon Diggs
The second Pro Bowler to praise Dorsey is offensive tackle Dion Dawkins. The fifth-year pro said that success starts with the quarterback, so it's important to have someone that Josh Allen is comfortable with. Dawkins also said that Dorsey is a "good dude" and points out how the tackle always runs up to him on the sidelines whenever the Bills score a touchdown.
Despite making it to the AFC Championship Game in 2021, the Bills were eliminated by the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Round of this postseason. If Buffalo wants to get closer to winning a championship next season, it'll be important for Dorsey to live up to the hype.
The 2022 NFL Pro Bowl will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV on Sunday, Feb. 6 at 3 p.m. EST.
