The Green Bay Packers are venturing into a uncharted waters, at least for the 18 years since Aaron Rodgers joined the NFL. Green Bay fell to 3-4 on the season after another shocking loss to the Washington Commanders, making this the first time a Rodgers-led Packers team has been below .500 through the first seven weeks of the season.

Call it what you want, but this is an all-time low. That's never been more evident than taking a look at the Week 8 betting lines from FanDuel Sportsbook, where Rodgers and the Packers are considered 10.5-point underdogs against the Buffalo Bills.

According to Ben Fawkes and Adam Schefter, Rodgers has never been a double-digit underdog throughout his entire NFL career. Not even when the team went 6-10 during his first full season starting back in 2005, or when they went 6-9-1 in 2018.

There are so many places to point when it comes to the struggling Packers, but it starts and ends with some offseason decisions by the front office. The loss of superstar wideout Davante Adams grows more and more painful by the week. A true lack of weapons (outside running backs Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon) puts Rodgers on pace for both the fewest passing yards and worst QBR mark in his career.

Green Bay has to turn things around quickly if they have any hopes of competing with the 5-1 Minnesota Vikings. Unfortunately, the odds point to Green Bay falling to 3-5, instead of getting back to .500 in Week 8.
