Bills Open as Heavy Favorites for Wild Card Matchup With Colts
By michael obermuller

Talk about finishing on a high note. The Buffalo Bills have obliterated their opponent the past three weeks and haven't come close to losing in their last six games. Most recently, they knocked a playoff-hungry Miami Dolphins team out of the dance with a 56-26 trouncing in Week 17.
Quarterback Josh Allen may get some MVP votes after all, leading this Bills offense to unbelievable statlines in recent weeks. In his past five games, Allen has thrown for 1,516 passing yards, with 15 touchdowns and two interceptions. He added 110 yards rushing and two touchdowns on the ground during that span.
The #Bills are bringing Matt Barkley in at QB, so Josh Allen's sensational regular season is likely over.

Final stats for Allen: 396/572, 4,544 passing yards [franchise record], 46 total TDs, 10 INTs
He'll get MVP consideration.
Head coach Sean McDermott deserves a lot of credit too, as he has been the main constant in Buffalo's long-term transformation. He has stressed the importance of home playoff games to his team, and this momentum has the Bills as major favorites in their first one in some time, as 7-point home favorites against the Indianapolis Colts.
Wild-Card Schedule:
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) January 4, 2021
Saturday
Colts at Buffalo, 1:05 pm (CBS)
Rams at Seattle, 4:40 pm (FOX)
Bucs at Giants/WFT 8:15 (NBC)
Sunday
Ravens at Tennessee, 105 (ESPN)
Bears at NO, 4:40 (CBS)
Browns at Pittsburgh, 8:15 (NBC)
The Colts are also well-coached, with Frank Reich pulling the strings. They are known for their strong run game and offensive line play, as well as a darkhorse defense that has led them for most of the season. Veteran Philip Rivers has playoff experience, but he's no longer a top quarterback at this point in his career.
This sets up a pretty challenging task for Buffalo on Wildcard Weekend, so this line could move if the public agrees. At the same time, it's also hard to argue against the Bills recent form. Follow along on FanDuel Sportsbook for the updated spread, as well as every other NFL Playoff line.
