Friday's NBA schedule has eight games including the LA Lakers (16-13) at Minnesota Timberwolves (13-15). Twos are wild with Minnesota a 2-point favorite and the over/under set at 222 points.

Here's three of the best prop bets for the Lakers-Timberwolves game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

1. Anthony Edwards - Made Threes: Over 3.5 (+128)

On Wednesday, 2020 No. 1 overall pick Anthony Edwards became the youngest player in NBA history to make 10 3-pointers in a game. The 20-year old is scoring 22.1 points per game after pouring in 38 points in the T-Wolves road win at Denver. On Nov 12, Edwards had a season-low 9 points against the Lakers, but they'll be shorthanded at guard with Russell Westbrook and Avery Bradley Friday among five Lakers are in COVID protocol. Edwards benefits from the playmaking threat of D'Angelo Russell, and he'll get more open looks from long range again Friday night.

2. Karl-Anthony Towns - Points + Rebounds: Over 34.5 (-115)

Player performance props can be popular with better odds and a plus price attached. Check those offerings on FanDuel as posted, and watch for Karl-Anthony Towns to continue his strong play. The seventh-year pro just picked up his 10,000th career point Wednesday while scoring 32 points. He's a good bet to go over 9.5 rebounds with the Lakers average rebounding rate, although Anthony Davis will provide a tough challenge. Bet on Towns' production with points and rebounds to go over, noting that the strong center had 29 points and 7 rebounds in 30 minutes when he faced Davis and the Lakers in Los Angeles Nov. 12.

3. D'Angelo Russell - Assists: Over 5.5 (-140)

Russell returned to the court the last two games, and his importance to the Timberwolves and opposing defenses has never been more clear. Despite shooting a career-worst 38.8% FG, he's a dynamic passer with limitless shooting range. The T'Wolves offense is much better with Russell's playmaking and perimeter threat, and the offense is going to surge moving forward with Russell's creative passing and improved shooting coming.
