After going down 2-0 in their third straight playoff series, the Los Angeles Clippers got their first win of the NBA Western Conference Finals when they defeated the Phoenix Suns, 106-92, on Thursday. Now, they'll look to even up the series with Game 4 being scheduled for Saturday night.
While it's always fun to bet on popular markets like the spread or moneyline, some bettors like to use player prop bets to add some extra excitement.
Here's a look at the three best player prop bets heading into tonight's Game 4, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.
Suns vs Clippers Game 4 Player Props
1. Paul George - Points: Under 29.5 (-116)
With Kawhi Leonard missing another game, the Clippers will once again rely on Paul George as the No. 1 option on Saturday. While he should continue seeing a lot of scoring opportunities (25 field goal attempts per game in the series), he's topped 30 points just four times this postseason. George is also averaging 26.6 PPG at the Staples Center throughout the playoffs. If history is anything to go off of, it's looking unlikely that "PG13" will hit the over for his projected point total tonight.
2. Chris Paul - Assists: Over 9.5 (-134)
After missing a handful of games after landing in COVID-19 protocol, Chris Paul made his return to the Suns' lineup in Game 3 and didn't look out of place as he ended the night with 12 assists. If you're doubting whether or not the 11-time NBA All-Star can hit the over on the 9.5-assist total, look no further than his last six games. During that stretch, Paul is averaging 10.8 APG, which is tough for any point guard to do — let alone one who's 36 years old. Considering Paul may not get another opportunity like this to play this deep into the playoffs, watch for him to have a big game tonight.
3. Ivica Zubac - Rebounds: Over 9.5 (-142)
Before Game 2, Clippers center Ivica Zubac had just two instances this postseason where he played more than 20 minutes. However, he's played 32 or more minutes in each of the last two contests, resulting in 13.5 RPG during that span. Some people may doubt whether he can have another double-digit rebound performance in Game 4, especially since he's averaging 5.3 RPG this postseason, but his per 36 stats tell another story. Zubac is average 11.7 rebounds per 36 minutes during the playoffs. Considering how well he played last game, he could be in line for another 30-plus-minute showing, meaning 10 or more rebounds isn't that unlikely.
